Hello friends! It's been a while since I've posted anything! We've been busy with school and haven't had much free time. Since my last post Sophia started first grade and Aiden is in pre-k. It's been a great year so far with lots of new adventures. A few weeks ago I drove past a lagoon and made a spontaneous stop with the kids. They loved it so much and had been begging to go back and so yesterday we did. We saw lots of wildlife and signs that spring is just around the corner. After our walk we sat down to jot in our nature journals and had a beautiful view of the pacific ocean. They also have a facility with a few live animals. There a park ranger inside and will answer any questions you might have. So if you're in the San Diego area I highly recommend visiting this place.
